US Virgin Islands has 518 registered charities on the current register extract, of which 182 reported income in their latest return. Together they reported $256.7m of income. The median charity took in $145k, while the largest tenth reported $1.9m or more, so a typical donation goes to a far smaller organisation than the household names at the top of this list.
