Utah has 11,411 registered charities on the current register extract, of which 3,133 reported income in their latest return. Together they reported $20.07bn of income. The median charity took in $185k, while the largest tenth reported $4.3m or more, so a typical donation goes to a far smaller organisation than the household names at the top of this list.

Income is heavily concentrated: the ten largest charities account for 69% of the total. Across the whole group, 137 charities have a note from the register, such as overdue accounts or three years of spending above income, and those notes are shown on each charity's page.
