Oregon has 22,420 registered charities on the current register extract, of which 7,926 reported income in their latest return. Together they reported $31.44bn of income. The median charity took in $168k, while the largest tenth reported $3.0m or more, so a typical donation goes to a far smaller organisation than the household names at the top of this list.

Income is concentrated: the ten largest charities account for 41% of the total. Across the whole group, 342 charities have a note from the register, such as overdue accounts or three years of spending above income, and those notes are shown on each charity's page.
