The median charity took in $184k, while the largest tenth reported $4.0m or more, so a typical donation goes to a far smaller organisation than the household names at the top of this list.

Income is heavily concentrated: the ten largest charities account for 56% of the total. Across the whole group, 656 charities have a note from the register, such as overdue accounts or three years of spending above income, and those notes are shown on each charity's page.
