Idaho has 8,603 registered charities on the current register extract, of which 2,400 reported income in their latest return. Together they reported $9.11bn of income. The median charity took in $162k, while the largest tenth reported $2.4m or more, so a typical donation goes to a far smaller organisation than the household names at the top of this list.

Income is heavily concentrated: the ten largest charities account for 64% of the total. Across the whole group, 77 charities have a note from the register, such as overdue accounts or three years of spending above income, and those notes are shown on each charity's page.
